Nigerian Army SSC Course 49/2026 – Application Closes November 12th
The Nigerian Army has announced that the online application for the Short Service Combatant Course (SSC) 49/2026 will officially close in one week’s time, with the deadline set for midnight on Wednesday, 12th November 2025.
According to the announcement, interested applicants who are yet to complete their registration are advised to do so before the deadline, as no extension will be granted after the closing date.
The Short Service Combatant Course is a special enlistment program designed to train qualified Nigerian citizens into officers of the Nigerian Army within a short period. The course provides an opportunity for graduates who desire to serve their country through a professional military career.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth.
- Must possess a minimum of a first degree or HND from a recognized institution.
- Must be between the ages of 23 and 27 years by the year of enlistment.
- Must be physically and medically fit according to Nigerian Army standards.
- Applicants must also have no criminal record.
