Job Description
The Human Resource Assistant will support MSF’s HR department in implementing policies, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth staff operations. You will work closely with the HR Manager and field teams to maintain efficient human resource processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment processes including job postings, application screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR databases.
- Support onboarding and induction of new staff members.
- Prepare and process contracts, leave forms, and payroll documents.
- Ensure compliance with MSF policies and national labor regulations.
- Assist with performance evaluations and staff development initiatives.
- Handle confidential HR matters with integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of HR experience (NGO experience preferred).
- Good knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of French or local languages is an advantage).
